The current rules

Austin has been under Conservation Stage restrictions since September 2025. Automatic and in-ground irrigation systems may run only one designated day per week by address parity: even addresses Thursday, odd addresses Wednesday. Hose-end sprinklers and drip irrigation get two days per week (even = Thu/Sun, odd = Wed/Sat); hand-held hose watering and tree bubblers are allowed any day.
